Conceptual project:
Demonstrating my process through wireframes and modern mockups
To expand my UI/UX portfolio, I created a conceptual banking website redesign. This project demonstrates how I approach wireframing, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups to modernize a legacy-style financial site into a responsive, user-centered experience.
Overview Banking websites often struggle with cluttered navigation, outdated layouts, and accessibility challenges. This project reimagines a typical legacy banking site with modern UX practices to highlight: Clear information hierarchy Mobile-first responsive design Accessible typography and color contrast Streamlined navigation for common tasks (e.g., account login, transfers)
Process
Research: Reviewed financial design trends and accessibility standards
Wireframes: Sketched and built low-fidelity layouts in Figma to establish hierarchy and task flow
User Flow Diagram: Mapped a typical customer journey — Homepage → Login → Account Balance
High-Fidelity Mockups: Applied branding, color, and typography to deliver a polished desktop + mobile experience
Outcome Demonstrated my ability to reverse-engineer and modernize a legacy-style financial website Showcased process from wireframe → user flow → final mockup Provided a proof-of-concept project illustrating my growing UI/UX skillset and readiness for larger digital design roles
